RETURN & REFUND POLICY — Irasshaimase

Thank you for shopping with Irasshaimase. We ship authentic Japanese products internationally from Japan. Because of the nature of international shipping, please review our return policy carefully before placing your order.


ORDER CANCELLATIONS (BEFORE SHIPPING)

You may cancel your order at no cost at any time before it has shipped. Once an order has been dispatched, it cannot be cancelled. To cancel an order, contact us as soon as possible at peter@sbhproject.com.


RETURNS (AFTER SHIPPING)
--------------------------------------
We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
- In the same condition you received it
- Unused and unopened
- In its original packaging
- Accompanied by proof of purchase

IMPORTANT: Because all orders ship internationally from Japan, return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer. We recommend using a tracked shipping service, as we cannot be held responsible for items lost in return transit.

For items valued under $30 USD, we may issue a refund without requiring the physical return of the item, at our discretion.

To start a return, contact us at peter@sbhproject.com. Do not send items back without first requesting and receiving return approval. Unapproved returns will not be accepted.


DAMAGED, DEFECTIVE, OR WRONG ITEMS

Please inspect your order upon delivery and contact us within 7 days if:
- The item arrived damaged during transit
- The item is defective
- You received the wrong item

In these cases, we will cover all costs to resolve the issue — including return shipping or a full replacement. You will not be charged for errors on our end. Please include photos of the damage or issue when contacting us so we can process your claim quickly.


NON-RETURNABLE ITEMS

The following items cannot be returned:
- Food, beverages, and perishable goods
- Cosmetics, skincare, and personal care products (if opened or used)
- Pharmaceuticals and health products
- Baby care consumables (wipes, diapers, formula, etc.)
- Hazardous materials, flammable liquids, or gases
- Sale items and gift cards

Due to health and safety regulations, we cannot resell opened personal care or consumable products. If you receive a defective item in any of these categories, please contact us — we will work with you to find a resolution.


RETURNS NOT ACCEPTED

We are unable to accept returns for the following reasons after an order has shipped:
- Accidental purchase
- Change of mind / no longer wanted
- Item did not meet personal expectations (color, size, scent, etc.)

We encourage customers to review product details, descriptions, and images carefully before purchasing. If you have questions about a product, please contact us before ordering.


EXCHANGES

We do not offer direct exchanges. To get a different item, please request a return for the original item and place a new order separately.


REFUNDS

Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you whether your refund has been approved.

If approved:
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method
- Please allow up to 10 business days for the refund to appear
- Your bank or credit card company may require additional processing time

If more than 15 business days have passed since your refund was approved and you have not received it, please contact us at peter@sbhproject.com.
