2-way design for handheld and lantern styles. Switch toggles between on/off. Uses four LR41 button batteries (included for testing). Initial brightness of 7lm (approximately 500lx at 50cm) reduces to 1lm after 10 minutes. Continuous lighting time of about 10 minutes at 7lm, then about 50 minutes at 1lm.
