Crafted by artisans in the knife-making town of Yoita, this shaver offers smooth cutting performance. Ideal for shaving katsuobushi (dried bonito). Without a drawer, it allows for heavier, sharper blades to shave larger quantities. Blade adjustment is done with a wooden mallet. The blade protrusion should be about the thickness of a sheet of copy paper.
